I had to read the instructions twice and dry fit the struts three times before  deciding to go ahead with gluing.

I remember  building  my first  Typhoon  in 1969 or 1970. I found out the date by looking at Scalemates.com which had this box  top on their  Website.

Looking at the 1969 box top brought back fond memories of the late 60s, but I don’t have any recollections having had such a hard time with the instructions.

I am still using what my son bought 10 years ago, or is it 15 years ago, for his hockey figurines he wanted to touch up a little.

What is left is adding the landing gear, the rockets, the canopy, and the propeller.

I won’t be working that much on the project today since it’s my grandddaugher’s birthday party.

She’s turning two.
